about MAVTI Training
MAVTI conducts approximately 25-45 training events annually statewide for law enforcement, police academy recruits, insurance SIU, and State of Michigan regulatory personnel. All MAVTI training events are FREE of charge and have been registered with MCOLES for the use of PA 302 Law Enforcement Distribution funds.
MAVTI Training Coordinator/ Lead Instructor/ Subject Matter Expert retired D/Sgt. Kyle McPhee, Michigan State Police (1989-2020) has instructed vehicle theft related investigative training courses since 1998 to over 13,000 law enforcement officers, police academy recruits, Insurance SIUs, and regulatory personnel in Michigan, Ohio, and the Country of Norway.
MAVTI ANTI-THEFT CAR COMMITTEE (ACT) MEETING
The next meeting of the Michigan Anti-Car Theft (ACT) Committee is scheduled for Thursday, January 16th, 2025 at 1:00 PM at AAA Insurance located at 1 Auto Club Dr., Dearborn, MI 48126.
These meetings are designed to foster communication, collaboration and information sharing among law enforcement, insurance SIUs, vehicle manufacturers, state regulatory agencies, & prosecutors on all things related to auto theft and auto theft-related insurance fraud.
